Research Interests
Broiler management including air quality, energy conservation, lighting programs, and water consumption and quality
Academic Program
Extension responsibilities focus on areas of poultry management (with a concentration on broilers), poultry house management and energy conservation. Other activities include preparation of and participation in 4H and FFA poultry judging contests, as well as contributing to programs that assist county extension personnel.
Research programs focus on the effect that poultry management and poultry house environmental management has on broiler physiology and production. This research includes the evaluation new technologies that could be adapted to improve poultry production.
Teaching responsibilities include POUL 4010 Advance Poultry Production and guest lectures in a number of classes.
