Event for teachers:
Avian Academy
Avian Academy is a FREE three-day program hosted each summer by the Department of Poultry Science for middle and high school STEM and Vo-Ag teachers. It’s purpose is to "educate the educators" about the importance, impact, and massive job demand our state’s number one industry has by providing hands-on labs and curriculum for participants to take straight back to their classrooms. School Visits
Can't come to us? No worries - we can come to you! Both in-person and virtual school visits can be arranged, and include an informative presentation about the poultry industry, it's impact on our state, and college and career opportunities.
