The Great Georgia Pollinator Census is a historical initiative where Georgians will record the numbers and types of pollinators that populate our state during late summer. You do not have to be an entomologist to be part of this important project! The census was designed for individuals, families, garden clubs, school groups, friends – ALL Georgians to participate.

There is no better way to welcome our new incoming freshmen and transfer students than food and fellowship. Come down to Rhodes Center for ADS in auditorium 101 to meet your fellow faculty and staff in the department. The event will be held at Rhode Center for ADS at 6:30 PM on August 27, 2019. You will have the opportunity to mingle with fellow students and even our Department Head! What's better than a free meal and making connections??

An exciting way to kick off the new school year, the CAES Alumni Association annually hosts Ag Dawg Kickoff to welcome students, faculty, and staff to a new semester. The kickoff provides, food, entertainment, and student club exhibits. The event gives students, faculty, and staff a chance to interact as well as discover ways to get involved with activities at CAES.

Premiums will be paid in this show. Goats: Does and wethers will show separately. Grand and Reserve champions will be selected in each respective division. Entry fees are $15/head for goats and lambs Make checks payable to UGA Block & Bridle. Entries must be postmarked by August 19, 2019. Entries postmarked after August 21 will be assessed $5 late fee. For the last century, UGA-Tifton and the Coastal Plain Experiment Station have been conducting groundbreaking research and technological advancements in agriculture. Now, those same research scientists will have the opportunity to interact with your students and provide them with an interactive experience in STEM.
