![The late Herman Talmadge is among the state's agricultural leaders inducted into the Georgia Agriculture Hall of Fame. Talmadge was a farmer, Governor of Georgia and U.S. Senator. He served as an advisor to six presidents, helped create the Georgia Forestry Commission and established timber as a major crop in the state.
